How To Tackle A Negative Review

Did you know? 70% of couples trust a business more when they see both positive and negative reviews.

  • First, don't panic! You've got this. Take a few minutes to read, understand, and gather the facts around the negative review. The more information you have, the easier it will be to craft a response.
  • Relax. Avoid your instincts to reply back immediately and rashly–take a deep breathe and clear your mind before crafting your response.
  • Respond within 48 hours. Keep your response brief and sincere! Thank them for their review, acknowledge that you did not meet their expectations and offer to continue the conversation offline.

What's next? Now you can start requesting reviews to qualify for The Knot Best of Weddings--and if you receive negative feedback, you'll know just how to handle it!
